Aries FilterWorks is a US manufacturer of point of use polishing systems for the laboratory market. They offer ultrapure water purification equipment providing 18 Megohm water resistivity and meets Type I water specifications. Technologies include deionization, bacteria filtration, ultrafiltration, UV sterilization, and reverse osmosis purification.

A Bandelin Sonicator uses ultrasonic waves (20 kHz and above) to create tiny cavitation bubbles in liquids. These bubbles form due to rapid pressure changes and mechanical vibrations. When they collapse, they produce high pressure and temperature, creating strong shear forces that help break apart particles and remove contaminants. This cavitation process also produces the characteristic noise of high-power ultrasonic equipment.
